TENNIS FOR PLAYERS with SPECIAL NEEDS – Volunteers Needed!
The Center’s programs for citizens with special needs have expanded, conducted by Tennis Center professional Lisa Pugliese. Pugliese enjoyed a distinguished career as a highly-ranked junior and collegiate player (she played for the University of Florida’s 1996 NCAA champions). Her professional career cut short by injuries, Lisa found her next great love in teaching, particularly young people with disabilities. Eventually she entered the field of instructing those on the autism spectrum and founded Love Serving Autism as a non-profit in service to this community.
Love Serving Autism for Youth
Interaction between volunteers and students is very important in this program, and Tennis Pro Lisa Pugliese seeks well-motivated individuals who can commit to it. Please let her know if you might be able to do so. Lisa@loveservingautism.org.
LSA Youth meet at Russo Athletic Complex courts (adjacent to the Tennis Center) on selected Saturdays (see below). For information and pre-registration, please contact email@example.com.
